Comment below on the National Student Forum’s vision for a positive mature and part-time student experience
In our view, if all is working well in the system, a mature and/or part-time student would be able to say:
- I feel comfortable that I am making the right choice of university or college
- I feel supported
- My timetable is sympathetic to my needs
- I am able to afford to go to university, regardless of my age or circumstance
- I know that, if the worst happens and I need to take a break from my studies, I will be able to complete my degree because, in most cases, I can return to university after a long break and I can transfer credit to another university
